Katy Perry Looks Like Zooey Deschanel

I’m astounded at how much these two broads look alike. In case you don’t know who they are, Katy Perry is this girl. She is a 23 year old pop singer with the current top 40 hit entitled “I Kissed a Girl”. Zooey Deschanel is this girl. She is a 28 year old actress who was in Elf and, most recently, The Happening.
STOP! DO NOT go look up pictures of them. Stick with the images contained in the links above, because otherwise you might come across the pictures in my post and ruin the whole game. And don’t click “see all photos” on Zooey’s IMDB page. Just use the pictures on the front page for reference.
We’re going to play a little game called “Katy or Zooey?” This may seem like a pretty dumb “Perez-Hilton”-esque post, but I am just taken aback by how much they physically resemble each other. You will be too.
Here’s how to play. Study the pair of pictures and determine which one is Katy and which one is Zooey. If you are struggling, just remember the clues you know thus far:
- One’s an actress and one’s a musician
- One’s 4 1/2 years older than the other one
I don’t know how those will help you at all. The Answer key is in the comments so you don’t accidentally scroll down and see them in the post.

OK, got your answers? Are you sure? I have more than likely tricked you at least once. Did I alternate who is first on each pair? Did I make them all the same order? Did I put two pictures of the same girl together? Is this really all just one person? See the comments for the real answers.

They're easy to differentiate. In any given pair of pictures, Katy is the slutty/trashy one, and Zoe is the elegant/cute one. Look at the answers, and look back through the pics there and you'll see what I mean. lol.
well, i think zooey is sweet, retro-ish kind of girl that always makes your heart melts, while katy is the more colorful, wilder version. both are good
I got them all right! You can tell by the clothes they wear. Katy perry is more colorful and Zooey is more conservative. Number 7 was obvious since Katy is more outrageous and Zooey is glamorous.
But number 5 and 8 made me hesitate. Number 5 Zooey wore more makeup than usual but I could tell who Katy was cuz she looked like she was gonna have an orgasm haha.
Number 8 almost threw me off too cuz Katy wasn't as revealing but she wore yellow and Zooey wore this dull mint green thing so yeah.
Zooey is prettier, and also more talented, really.
I got 7/8 right, #6 being the one I got wrong (although I figured I was wrong when I guessed it). It’s pretty easy to figure out which is which because, with all honesty and this is not meant to offend anyone, Katy has much bigger breasts than Zooey.
I got them all right.
As you say, I think I should take it easy for a while.
(And I think I have been spending too much time on such things)

i actually dont know zooey's name til watchin yes man earlier but ive seen her in a couple movies. evertytime i see her i always think shes katy perry though i know katy didnt make a movie. a couple of weeks ago e talked about how they look so the same. i was right i thought it was just my eyes.

Anyway, it was the fact that Zooey has a wider mouth (? i'm not sure how to phrase what I mean; comme, when she smiles, sa bouche ressemble plus grande que Katy's), Ms Perry's got a bigger chest, plus their sense of style's different. (Katy's more fruity.)
Anyways, good work on it though, it was fun.
If you notice, Zooey dresses more graceful, and Katy a little racier….not that hard to figure out. and for #5 theres a watermelon on katy perry's dress…dead giveaway on that one!

it's not as hard as you think, the biggest difference between the two is their eye colour, katy's are more green and zooey's are more blue/grey.
They look a little alike, as in large blue eyes, light skin and dark hair, but it isnt hard to tell which is which. 8/8. Zooey is much cooler and her music is way better.

I don't spend my time looking at either of their photos/websites but I got them all right
The trick is, look at their expressions and body language. Katy is more "rough" or aggressive-looking (you can see it in her eyebrows even in the "sweet"-looking pics) whereas Zooey just looks soft and innocent. You'll notice that Zooey usually has her chin tucked and her face is turned downward, whereas Katy tries to be "in-your-face" (it's more subtle in #1 and #4, but still noticeable).
when i first saw a pic of zooey i thought it was katy, but thanks to your photos, ive managed to tell them apart now lol . i got 7/8

I got 6/8, I got 2 and 7 wrong. My excuse for 2 being I use the eyes to tell them apart and katy is in sun glasses and for 7 that zooey eyes don't look like they normal do due to make up and the brightness of the pic. Not really a great excuse but I'm sticking with it!
Also I don't kow Katy's face that well.

A friend of mine suggested that they might have same biological father and identical twin mothers (who don’t know each other, eventually, like in the “Lottie and Lisa” novel). In this case they would have a half-twin similarity.
This explanation scores better because it’s very hard to be disproved
What most people misunderstand is that the question is not “Can they be easily distinguished from each other?” but “Can they be one and a SAME person?”! Take the pictures of one particular celebrity, say Kate Beckinsale, and you will find they differ from each other ALOT MORE than those of Zooey and Katy!
It’s not unusual to have friends who look very much like someone from the tv or the movie screen, or is a double of a famous singer or a politician. What’s curious here is that those 2 women are BOTH singers, songwriters AND musicians. They are very famous at a same time and are nearly on a same age, born in a same country and same state, less than 100 miles from each other!
And something which is really weird – the most frequently used name for the roles of Zooey is… Katy! She plays as Kate, Kit, Kat, Katie, Kate, Katz in 6 different films out of 39 in her career to date. The only other name met more than once (twice) is Cheryl…
however both are way outta my reach…………..I am gonna look for any more of such coincidences.
I knew of katy first, and when i saw yesman I didn't realise how similar they were. Then i saw a trailer for something else and zooey looked like katy. it is hard to tell on some. I got 7/8.
Ironically, in her video starstrukk with 3oh!3, the bit in the fountain sometimes reminds me of emily deschanel, zooey's sister from bones.
