5 Non-Super Powers I Wish I Had

Posted by The Gimcracker in Gimcrackery, Theory & Philosophy, Top Fivers on 28. Aug, 2008 | Comments

I’m always thinking about the super powers I wish I had. Would it be better to fly or be invisible? Duh, fly. If you said invisible you’re one of three things: a) a thief, b) a cheater, or c) a depressed recluse. Think about it, if you could fly you would never have to pay [...]

Another Space Video

I can’t help it, I am intrigued by things that may seem pointless or boring to you. For instance I love telling people that there are more possible chess game outcomes than atoms in the universe. I usually get one of two responses to that:

“Your life saddens me.”
“That’s impossible. Your life saddens me.”

It only [...]

Pop Aversion Theory™
That’s why.
Let me tell you about a new theory that is blowing the minds of scientists and philosophizers ’round the globe. It’s called Pop Aversion Theory™ (PAT™) and it was discovered by the same great mind that brought us Reference Burst Theory™. Mine.
I recently took a movie compatibility quiz on Facebook because I [...]

I FIAL IN LIFE

I fail because each day I find out about a new thing that I could’ve come up with if I wasn’t too busy wishing I could come up with new stuff. Man that’s recursive.
We all know about LOLcats. Duh. They will always be funny no matter what.

Then someone came up with FAIL and it was [...]

I Used A Mac, And I Liked It

Posted by The Gimcracker in Gimcrackery on 05. Aug, 2008 | Comments

I spent all last week in a cabin in the woods stuck using someone else’s Macbook Pro. I have never been a Mac user. I know some of the differences in the OS, but I’ve never learned how to really use one. I have sported a PC since I was 10.
Having to suddenly switch [...]

You made it to the third set of widgets on my widget slider sidebar mechanism. There are only two reasons you could end up here: 1) because you are so into TGM that you read every word on every page, or 2) because you are trying to find something incriminating so you can hurt my reputation because I have offended you in some way (you're probably a Twitter fan boy or a Multigrain Cheerios lover). If you are here because of #2 and you want a bit of juicy gossip then here you go: I used to steal candy bars from the gift shop I worked at in the airport when I was 17 because they forged my time card to have less hours than I really worked. There's a slight chance that if you really put your mind to it and told the right people you could somehow hurt my reputation. At least I'll know that if I get a notice of a lawsuit in the mail regarding this matter that there was at least one person out there reading my blog :)
