Anything that has The Second Genesis in its title is naturally going to be confusing just for confusing's sake.

The graph reminds me of Line Rider.

You just sold me. If I had any real time to spare playing video games, the first one I would buy would be EVE.

As it stands, the most involved complex game I can tackle at the moment is some music racer/puzzle game I got on Steam for $10 (audiosurf).

Having played EVE, and watching people for a year or so play, I think this graph is actually a bit too kind.

Picture yourself being thrust into the future from today, on a space station- hundreds of years in the future. You know nothing of asto-navigation, space cruisers, or even how to buy a sandwich. You arent even sure how to turn on your spaceship let alone navigate.

If for some stupid reason, you decide to leave the space station, you are thrust upon a 365 degree - 3 dimension map of star systems, jump gates (dont even ask how you USE the jump gate) and other things.

If you stray too far - that range is seemingly arbitrary, you can be destroyed by anyone, loosing your stupid little ship.

It's as though the developers built this massive space simulator and on day 6 of 7 said "OH CRAP THIS IS A MMORPG!" kinda tacking on NPCs and missions, etc.

Trust me, DO NOT play this game unless you have 2 of the following:
1 Astrophysics degree
2 3 months of uninterrupted play time (ask players, they will say it takes this long to get a ship worth anything)
3 Your very own galactic starfleet

Other than all that it rocks.
