Katy Perry Looks Like Zooey Deschanel

Katy Perry Looks Like Zooey Deschanel

Remember that broad who Kissed A Girl? Also remember that girl from The Happening? Well if you haven’t figured it out by now, they look exactly alike. And I’m the first one who pointed it out.

Click this post to play a little game where I’ve included a picture of each person and labeled them A and B. Your job is to figure out which is which. This is a new type of game semantic that I’ve created which you have probably never seen before, so if you get confused just read the comments.

It is sad that this post is the reason my blog has had so many visits over the last year. Whoa whoa, hold on there. I didn’t say I regret writing it.

‘Indiana Jones 4′: Epic Disappointment The Likes Of ‘Phantom Menace’

I don’t know what it is with George Lucas and terrible rehashes of once-untarnished film sagas. Everything he touches nowadays turns to dust. If you choose to see a Lucas film, you have chosen poorly. Maybe my brother put it best when he told me “I knew George Lucas had changed forever when he modified [...]

Prince Caspian

Posted by The Gimcracker in Beratings, Movies on 20. May, 2008 | Comments

This movie scared me because I thought for a bit that I was not going to like it. Then I found myself trying to make myself like it, which only made me dislike it more. But in the end I was pleasantly surprised as to how well it was able to turn itself around.
So far, [...]

‘Iron Man’ Irons Wrinkles Out Of Brain

Posted by The Gimcracker in Beratings, Movies on 19. May, 2008 | Comments

That title is meant to be taken in a good way, although taken negatively it also aptly describes the movie. Iron Man is about the beginnings of a super hero: how the cockiest guy on Earth is convicted with the duty of saving humanity from an evil corporation that he helped build. He has no [...]

American Gangster

Posted by The Gimcracker in Beratings, Movies on 21. Apr, 2008 | Comments

American Gangster is one of those movies that I wish I didn’t love. It’s not particularly edifying and it contains a lot of nudity. At least it wasn’t Eastern Promises nudity, and for that I’m thankful.
It’s the true story of a self-made 1970s drug lord who rose to the top and fell right back down [...]

Movies I’m Not Looking Forward To

Baby Mama because I despised Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as the Weekend Update duo on SNL, and they’ll be up to all their old, tired antics again in this film.
10,000 B.C. because it looks terrible and it will dupe people into spending 10 bucks based solely on the played-out hype of Independence Day (amazing [...]

3:10 To Yuma

Posted by The Gimcracker in Beratings, Movies on 28. Mar, 2008 | Comments

You don’t see westerns too often these days. The last good western I saw was Tombstone, and each time I re-watch it on TV (pretty much once a week), I realize how fast it’s climbing up the ranks of my favorite re-watchable films of all time.
Naturally, every western I see is/will be compared to Tombstone, [...]

Movies I’m Looking Forward To

Posted by The Gimcracker in Movies on 24. Mar, 2008 | Comments

Coming Soon
Ironman because it’s Robert Downey Jr. so even if the movie sucks he will not I guarantee it.
Prince Caspian because it looks way better than The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe.
Indiana Jones 4 because Spielburg, Lucas, and Ford create the perfect trifecta.
The Hobbit (both films) because imagine Lord of the Rings directed by [...]

Dan In Real Life

Posted by The Gimcracker in Beratings, Movies on 24. Mar, 2008 | Comments

Dan In Real Life wasn’t the film I was expecting. I was expecting Stranger Than Fiction and I got The Family Stone mixed with Little Miss Sunshine. Although somewhat thrown off at first, I came to realize I liked it because it was nowhere near as excruciatingly frustrating as The Family Stone or awkward as [...]

You made it to the third set of widgets on my widget slider sidebar mechanism. There are only two reasons you could end up here: 1) because you are so into TGM that you read every word on every page, or 2) because you are trying to find something incriminating so you can hurt my reputation because I have offended you in some way (you're probably a Twitter fan boy or a Multigrain Cheerios lover). If you are here because of #2 and you want a bit of juicy gossip then here you go: I used to steal candy bars from the gift shop I worked at in the airport when I was 17 because they forged my time card to have less hours than I really worked. There's a slight chance that if you really put your mind to it and told the right people you could somehow hurt my reputation. At least I'll know that if I get a notice of a lawsuit in the mail regarding this matter that there was at least one person out there reading my blog :)
